The Exercise 2×1 continuous in the half court is another way to work the inequality numerically in favour of the attack.
Luka Bassin we propose a very practical format.
Unlike the Exercise 2×1 classic at mid-court, in this proposal, the exercise also includes a pass back and more dynamism to the new defender will simulate a balance defensive.
Really like this “Continuation 2⃣🆚1⃣ Fastbreak drill” for simple reason.

⚠️ There is transition defense, not stationary defense…and in most cases in game situations there IS transition defense!!! #GameSituationsGameResults

Objectives

- Optimize decision making.
- Practice inequalities numerical.
- Put into practice the feints defensive.
Contents

- Boat
- Step Zero
- Stops
- Outputs
- Shot
- Entrance to basket
- Changes of hand
- Change of pace
- Feints
- The defense of player with ball
- Defense of the player without the ball
- Inequality numeric:
- Numerical superiority offensive
- Numerical inferiority defensive
- 2×1
Recommended age

- From 10 years onwards (minibasket: category alevín).
Number of players

- As of 7 players on.
Recommended time

- Recommended time: 6-8 min (on the equator temporary gradually introducing variants).
Equipment and facilities

- 1 ball available.
- A half basketball court.
Initial layout and description
Make 2 rows standing 2 players in the center circle, one with a ball and the other without the ball on the opposite side.
On the first of each row comes out and plays a 2×1 against the sole defender. To resolve the 2×1, either because there has been a basket either because the defender has recovered the ball, is left to defend the attacker, who was the last to touch the ball.
Recommendation: in case of availability of court as a whole, you can do that when the defender to recover the ball attack another ring next to the attacker that was not the last to touch the ball.
Variants
- Must end with entry to the basket by one side given.
- There’s that end up pulling (below the ring, outside the area or from the three-point line).
- You have to dial before a particular time.
- You have to resolve with a maximum number of passes.
- You have to resolve with a maximum of boats.
- It is necessary to resolve a given number of passes and boats spread out between the couple attacker.
- The new defender will be the defender that was not the last to touch the ball.
- 1×2 – Classic in the half court.
- Edit location of reception of new attackers
- Change up where you have to reach the defender when it simulates the balance.
Note: all variants are combinable.
