One offensive player must survive a sequence of defenders in a gauntlet-style challenge. The 1-on-Many Gauntlet Drill builds resilience, composure under pressure, and finishing ability in physically demanding conditions.

Drills not translating to in-game success? Play more competitive mini-games like this!
I call this the “gauntlet finishing” drill. Try it out! pic.twitter.com/LmhGKX3zpb— Jared Berggren (@jberggren40) December 6, 2021

Initial layout and description of the 1-on-Many – Gauntlet Drill
The attacker begins in the header. The 2 defending players are doing displacements defensive side (the first one on the shooting line and the second above the taco). On how much the Player With the Ball bounces, the two defenders must shut the step. The attacker will have to trace the path further away from two defenders to slow the maximum possible interactions to arise.
Variants
- The Regular placement of the cones to adjust time and space in which occurs the 1×2, giving more advantage to the attacker or defenders.
- Grant a boat past the line of 3 points (can be counter-productive to the attacker
- The defenders start in the same positions, but oriented towards the line of the bottom of the basket you are in. Made slip and will be back at how much you hear the bounce of the attacker.
- The attacker comes back from the perimeter of the circle in the center.
- You can change the arrangement of players guiding the exercise with the attacker on the basis of 45º, the first defender by going to the elbow of Strong Side to bottom-line and second defender going elbow Weak Side to the semi-circle of no-load.
Note: All variants are supported.
