The 0 to 100 Drill is a progressive exercise that starts with technical 1-on-0 execution and escalates into live 1-on-1 competition. Players first focus on form, footwork, and timing, then transition into reading the defender, making decisions, and finishing under pressure. This drill is ideal for developing attacking confidence, creativity, and scoring consistency.

Note: Crucial that we work together changes by hand with a change of pace, whenever you can, so that the player also associate that accompanied each other.
Objectives

- Consolidate changes of hand.
- Practice concatenation of changes of hand different.
- To increase confidence in the pot.

Equipment and facilities

- 1 ball available for a couple.
- Can be done in a court in whole or half a pitch. Will depend on the number of players that we have and the distance that we want to work.
- In pitch sole:
- We can first work by a band and work in a sense.
- We can enable 3 street, and the next couple quit when the previous couple already been resolved.
- In the half court:
- see 3 streets and every couple to have their street assigned.
- we enable 2-sided, and that the third couple go by the side that was free (well, we are all in the sides).
Initial layout and description of 1-on-0 & 1-on-1 – From 0 to 100 Drill
Distributed by couples. A ball for a couple.
- In the half court: each pair starting with the attacking player at the start of the offensive arena (track front). In case of three, one of the three rests (the players involved play 1×1 twice replaced roles).
In case of a draw both in the resolution of 1×1 (the two mark or two retrieved before or after shot), playing a 1×1 most and who will resolve in a satisfactory way is still playing (rotation by Sudden Death). - On the court whole: each pair starting with the attacking player on the back line of the defense field (back track). In case of three, one of the three rests. The players involved play 1×1 twice replaced roles. In case of a draw both in the resolution of 1×1 (the two mark or two retrieved before or after shot), playing a 1×1 most and who will resolve in a satisfactory way is still playing. Rotation by Sudden Death.
The attacker with the ball starts to shackle changes hand from a static position (in the advanced version, the attacker walks by performing the change of hand).
While the defending player is in basic position-defensive. After a few seconds and without prior notice, the attacking player, changes of pace and progresses toward the hoop (you can also set a range of 3 to 7-10 changes of the hand in a row).
Once solved the 1×1 (either because the defender has recovered the ball, either because the attacker has basked) will change the roles. For greater competitiveness, lead to a score.
- If it is performed at mid-court, the attacker can go to progress, and a change of pace before getting to the extension of the free-kick of his half-pitch (the defender may steal the ball when the attacker has accomplished the change of pace).
- If you perform on the court as a whole, the attacker can change of pace between the extension of the free-kick of his defense field and the free throw their field offensive (green area).
Variants
- Must end with entry to the basket by one side given.
- You need to combine certain changes of hand (in front, behind the back, under the legs).
- In time you start the exercise from a static position (on standing), starts with displacement and in the vicinity of the triple, the attacking player makes the change of pace and starts the 1×1.
- You need to dial a certain number of baskets at a given time.
- There is to steal a certain number of balls in a given time.
- In groups of three, you can do that the third component (the rest) of a visual signal to the attacking player (can be waving hands in the air) to start the change of pace. In this way we force them to the pot with the head raised.
Note: You can perform with 1×0, in which the coach (located in the bottom line of the field, offensive) gives the signal and the players start or change of motion. Ideal to strengthen confidence in the various changes of hand.
