Real 11-Man Fast-Break Drill

The Real 11-Man Fast-Break Drill is a refined version of the classic 11 man Fast Break Drill, designed to mirror realistic game transitions. Instead of defenders waiting inactive, this version has players rotating in a continuous, live sequence—3 attack, 2 defend, and 3 new attackers enter from the backcourt immediately. This promotes true fast-break feel, reduces waiting time, and enhances numbers advantage, decision-making, and defensive balance.

The play of the numerical superiority of 3c2 and at the time of shooting the 3 players of bottom line start to run the track. Perform balance defensive the two players who have not thrown (in this case 1 and 3). The player who has pulled over the two defenders rotate/rest to a bottom line with the ball.
The exercise can be played with 1 or 3 balls (to vary the pace of the exercise.
In the case of:

  • 9 players, are placed 2 players in each line in the background.
    • the player who will join the new attacking team will be the last attacker touched the ball.
  • 10 players are placed 2 players in a bottom line, and make the rotation of the 9 players. On the other bottom line is placed the 3 of the original exercise 11.

Variants

  • You can only finish with an entrance to the basket.
  • You can only pull 2 points.
  • Only you can pull out of the restricted zone.
  • You can only pull 3 points.
  • You play without boat.
  • There is a limit of boats per player each time that it receives.
  • There is a limit of passes per team on field of attack.
  • Can be made with just one ball. In this case, the exercise is more realistic and tunes the speed of reaction of the players having to get behind the back line in case of fit basket or pass to the bands for the output of contrataque in case of theft, recovery or rebound defensive.
  • Balance End.
  • There is No rebound, players waiting in the line of the bottom of the basket in which to play out in much the ball touches aro.
  • There is No bounce and it comes out in how far the ball leaves the hand of the shooter.

Note: In the spur of the exercise, it is likely that the players get out of the fund to commit to a lack of kick stepping inside the court (remember that you can ‘bite’ the line, but never stepping inside the court.
