The Shooting Line Drill, commonly referred to as the “arrow drill” due to the staggered shape of the player alignment, is a classic basketball warm-up designed to build rhythm, footwork, and shooting confidence.
Players rotate through three key roles—passer, shooter, and rebounder—ensuring continuous movement and repetition.
This drill is ideal for activating players at the start of practice, improving timing, and reinforcing basic shooting fundamentals in a structured yet dynamic format.
