Initial layout and description of the 1-on-1 – Shadowing the pivot

Are distributed to the players for couples. A player with the ball will be the defender and will be placed below the Free Throw. The other player will be the attacker and you will leave from mid-court.
The defender passes the ball to the attacker, and goes to him. The attacker approaches the ring to receive the ball. You will need to perform a certain type of stop (free-choice or pre-determined in advance by the coach) and immediately locate the Pivot Foot. From this point, the attacker will have to hold for 3-5 seconds before throwing them away. During that course of time, the ombudsman will attempt to play the ball (being passive defender) or try to steal the ball (real situation 1×1).Past the period of time referred to above, is to be completed towards the ring, with or without opposition (depending on the initial configuration of the exercise -to advocate passive or active advocate).

Variants

Note: all variants are combinable.
