The Corn Harvest Game

The Corn Harvest Game is a playful, high-energy exercise where players race to collect as many cones (or “ears of corn”) as possible from the center and bring them back to their team’s basket. This game improves acceleration, agility, quick reactions, and fosters team competition through a fun, farm-themed dynamic.

Initial layout and development of the game from The Corn Harvest Game

Before you start, you will form groups (to a greater number, less waiting time and therefore more time commitment engine).

Once made the groups, are placed at a certain distance (you can leave half court or by using the court as a whole). The first player of each row with the ball.

When the Coach gives the signal, on the first of each row goes to the basket and throws:

  • If it fails, the player who threw the basket will pick up his own rebound and going to give the baton to the next player for his group,
  • If you check, the player that threw it sets out a cone. If it fails (to be possible without stop throwing away), and then it is going to give the baton to the next player in your group.

The game ends when you have already picked up all the cones. The team with most cones have collected (there may be a tie).

Following the end of the round, you play another round until all teams have rotated.
