Basketball Fortnite is a survival-style elimination game inspired by the battle royale format. Players compete in 1-on-1 or group mini-duels, and losers are gradually eliminated until only one remains. This dynamic game boosts competitiveness, reaction speed, 1-on-1 skills, and focus under pressure, making it ideal for large groups and tournament-style sessions.
Objectives
- Practice shots at the basket.
- Ending the session with a fun game that many players were excited.
Recommended age
- From 8 years onwards (Minibasket: categories, benjamin and fry).
Note: not recommended for categories a cadet in forward.
Number of players
- A minimum of 4 players, although it is much more fun having 10-12.
Recommended time
- Recommended time: 4-5 minutes.
Equipment and facilities
- 1 ball per player.
- A pitch whole of Basketball. It can also be done in half court.
Initial layout and description of the Basketball Fortnite
The players are scattered all over the pitch and they are hurling the ball.When the coach gives the signal to start the game.
First round: The players before a mark-up qualify for the next round. The before you select a shot from outside the area, you win. On how much you have one half of the group that has been marked, it will be passed to the next round. The players of the half that are not marked will go to the centre circle to stretch.
Second round: It constricts the area of game using only the available area between the two lines of 3 points. The players will be playing an all against all, trying to steal the ball from each other. When a player manages to steal the ball to a mate of his, will launch off the court to remove you. Only when there are 2 players, it will be passed to the next round.
Last round: when only two players remain, these will play the final duel in the central circle. The goal will be to get one of the two to lose the ball and/or out of the central circle.
Variants
- In the first round, instead of pulling it out of the area, there is that pull 3 points.
- There is a certain change of hands before rolling to the basket.
- There is a certain kind of stop before rolling to the basket.
- In the second and final round, all have to dribble with his hand non-dominant.
- You can vary the number of players that go in each round being able to add 1 or 2 more players.
